Getting to know the budgie

A busy Christmas at the O'Connors

I bought Sarah her fairy outfit for christmas and she disappeared straight away to put it on! (Still has jogging bottoms on!)
Wow Sarah, this is the best present ever...
Matching christmas outfits for the youngest members of the cousin gang

Our gorgeous nieces, Sarah, Maired and Mary

A dream come true! Sarah had a mircophone for christmas and I was itching to have a go. After a splendid rendition of 'Part of your world' from the Little Mermaid I provided superb backing vocals and movement to Sarah singing 'under the sea'.

Christmas day for Alice

Afternoon walk across the fields- very chilly but Alice is all snug cuddled up to her daddy.
Who knows where Otto is!!?!

That looks a lovely christmas dinner daddy, but I am looking forward to my special christmas meal...milk!

Always look on the bright side of life!

It has been one of those days today, lots of dirty nappies, no lunchtime sleep, desperate cries when feeding and emptying of the recycling bin! There are times when it feels like there are 2 children at home only, unlike most older siblings, Otto is not very helpful. When Alice was crying he thought that it would be really useful if he went and raided the recycling. He trotted back into the lounge proudly carrying his yoghurt container and laid it on his cushion. Needless to say this did nothing to stop the crying!! Despite all of this Alice has been a real bundle of giggles and has found the funny side of everything, even my last attempts to get her to sleep in her cot at 3.30pm (check out the video and decide yourself if she slept!!!!).
(On a positive note it is 7.30pm and after a few 'somewhere over the rainbow's' she has gone quiet..ish)

a tiny bit of snow!

Although the rest of the country is enjoying plenty of snow, it's a bit thin on the ground here. But that didn't stop us all from enjoying a brisk walk in the snow...and as you can see Otto loves it! (Video is a bit misleading, it was not that dark!)

sleep- anywhere, anytime!

My impression of Otto!

Oh look, my blanket!

"If I go really small they won't notice me"

Ready for action!

When looking for photos of Alice I spotted one of Otto curled up asleep on a blanket that I had put on the floor (cosy, he thought). So here is a collection of sleepy photos of Otto. You will notice that most are on the sofa!!

grandparents and greats!

Alice is very lucky to have a big and loving family, full of grandparents and great grandparents. She is looking forward to Christmas time and having a cuddle with them all again. grandad, nanny, Mimy and Dip
