look, no movement
This last week Alice and I have been settling in to a day time routine. This involves a good long nap after our 10ish feed in the morning. Alice loves to sleep on the move, strapped to me or Toby, pushed around in the buggy, rocking in her bouncy chair, in the car or swaying around the lounge over our shoulder. However today we have managed to have a sleep completely still in our basket, which means that mummy can have a rest too!

Visit from the O'Connors
In October half term (yes a while ago) Louloubelle, Danny and the girls spent the week in a cottage 15minutes from our house. It was Alice's first meet of her Aunty Louise, Uncle Danny and her cousins Mairead, Sarah and Mary. The weather was great for the time of year so we had a picnic at Lulworth Cove and a lovely walk along the river at Cerne Abbas.

The arrival of Alice Emily
On the 21st September Alice Emily arrived at 11.28pm (just before her due date). I was convinced she was going to be late, to follow in the footsteps of her mum, but she proved me wrong! We only made it to the hopsital just in time and at one point I was concerned she may arrive in the car on a dark country road. I think Toby was relieved she held on for a bit. Having spent a long time preparing my labour bag I was disappointed to not make full use of it (however the chocolate was very much appreciated afterwards!). After a short stay in hospital we returned home to see the other member of the Dipple clan- Otto the dog. He was sooo excited to see me and even more excited to see his new sister. Given half the chance he would lick her all over!
