It's been a while since I last posted some pictures on the blog. This is because suddenly Alice is in to everything and there is little time to spare! Right now she is on her play mat surrounded by toys but none of them are half as interesting as the board game boxes near by. It's amazing how far you can travel by rolling! So Alice is 7 months old and on 3 solid meals a day. She is happy to eat anywhere- tea rooms, by the river or cricket pitch...even in the services on the M3! Meal times are a happy affair with lots of mess. Oh and Otto likes this new aspect of Alice's day, particulary the finger food delights on the kitchen floor.

I can talk
It's all go here, we've got the builder in at the moment putting in built in wardrobes in 2 of the bedrooms. I usually creep around when Alice is asleep in the house but it seems I don't really need to bother as she can sleep through drills and nail guns!
I had to put this short video on. This is Toby's attempt at a daytime nap- about as successful as mine! Check out the different sounds she now makes. She loves to squeal!

Alice's first ride on a donkey!
Spring is in the air
At last, spring is finally here. We have had nearly 3 weeks of blue skies, a cool wind and longer day light hours- horray. Alice and I have been spending lots of time outside walking and looking at the plants in the garden-her cheeks are positively rosy from all the fresh air. As it was mothers day we headed to the coast for a walk and drink at the look out cafe. Otto ran around like a nutter and Alice slept. We then did a photo shot in the back garden- check out Alice flying and that toothy grin!

Alice's first tooth
After a month of joyful teething! Alice cut her first tooth yesterday and the second one broke through today. Maybe now things will settle for a while and she will be happy...

Nothing personal mummy, but you're just not that funny!
It's official, Alice completely adores Otto. She watches him all the time and when ever she hears the jingle of his collar tag, she turns her head and searches for him. Where as Toby and I have to sing and dance around to stop her crying, Otto can just look at her and she stops...instantly!
The other day she was watching Otto and he started to cough, it really tickled her and she started laughing. Every time he coughed she laughed (this is after a day of no laughs, despite my best attempts).
She is really keen to touch Otto and keeps reaching out towards him. I think Otto loves her too. He got his chew and laid it on the edge of her playmat by her feet (obviously we moved him!)
When I can, I will post some photos of this but it's a bit tricky to keep an eye on them both and hold a camera. Otto still gets in the odd lick on the hand which makes her giggle with excitment.
